Traffic Alert – Princes Highway on Barongarook Bridge in Colac East
Motorists are advised to consider an alternate route or expect up to five minute delays on the Princes Highway near Barongarook Bridge in Colac East on Wednesday August 22.
Pedestrians are also encouraged to be aware of their surroundings and follow the signs if walking near the bridge.
Between 9am and 5pm four power poles will be removed and one relocated.
One lane of traffic over the bridge will be closed at a time. There will also be changed conditions in the car park next to the bridge.
Queen Street will be closed at the intersection with the highway, but can still be accessed via other surrounding streets. Parking on Queen Street will not be impacted.
Traffic management will be in place to allow drivers and pedestrians to travel through the work site safely. Speed restrictions will also be in place.
