We’ve added extra lanes to 24kms of the Tullamarine Freeway in each direction between the Bolte Bridge and Melbourne Airport.
Major works are complete on the Tullamarine Freeway.
You can now save up to 17 mins of travel time on a round trip between the Bolte Bridge and Melbourne Airport.
The upgrade has increased capacity and eased congestion along 24 kms of the Tullamarine Freeway, CityLink and West Gate Freeway, from Melbourne Airport through to Power Street, Southbank.
Average speeds during the morning peak almost doubled since the new lanes opened.
While major works are complete, there are still some minor works that need to take place overnight.
Keep up to date on any upcoming ramp and freeway closures by visiting Victoria's Big Build.
