Moama - Cobb Highway intersection upgrades

Stage 4 was delivered by Transport for NSW.

This stage involved upgrading the Moama intersections to connect the Cobb Highway to the new Murray River bridge. It includes new traffic lights at the intersection of Cobb Highway/Perricoota Road/Francis Street and a new intersection at Cobb Highway/Meninya Street.

Excell Gray Bruni delivered the contract to build Stage 4. Work commenced in March 2020 and were completed in April 2022.

The new intersections will serve as key links to the new bridge, providing safer and quicker movements for residents, visitors and the freight industry as they move across the Murray River between Moama and Echuca.
