Publication of Information for Assessment on Preliminary Documentation under Section 95A(3) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act)

We invite public comments on EPBC 2019/8487 Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road Upgrade, Victoria. The project involves the upgrade of Healesville–Koo Wee Rup Road from two lanes to four between Manks Road and Princes Freeway East, approximately 55km south east of Melbourne CBD.

The proposed action has potential to impact listed threatened species and communities (Sections 18 & 18A) protected under Part 3 of the EPBC Act, specifically the:

  • Growling Grass Frog (Litoria raniformis)
  • Southern Brown Bandicoot (Isoodon obesulus obesulus).

We now invite comment on the impacts, assessments and mitigation measures outlined in the following documentation:
