We’re adding an extra lane in each direction between Oliphant Way and Frankston-Dandenong Road, upgrading intersections, building a new bridge over Peninsula Link and installing safety barriers.

Project design

Since 2018, we've been engaging with local residents and businesses to understand local traffic behaviours.

As a result of feedback, the design now includes two additional right turns from Lathams Road to Brett Drive and Tova Drive. These right turns will provide safe, easy access from Lathams Road to around 70 businesses on these side roads. This and other project features can be viewed on the interactive map.
