Community Reference Group
The Community Reference Group (CRG) represents the local community’s interests in the Yan Yean Road upgrade. While the group has no formal decision-making capacity, its members help to make sure the local community learns more about the project.
The group offers us a local perspective and knowledge and encourages discussions with residents, businesses and environmental groups.
Throughout 2018 and 2019, we held regular meetings with a CRG and we made the meeting minutes publicly available. The focus of this group was primarily on Stage 1 of the Yan Yean Road upgrade.
Throughout 2020 and 2021, we held regular meetings with a CRG and we made the meeting minutes publicly available. The focus of this group was the early planning and Environmental Effects Statement (EES) process for Stage 2 of the Yan Yean Road upgrade.
